Details and Registration
The Inter-Pack Rendezvous will be the exciting fall camping event for Cubs and Webelos. The family weekend event takes place over Columbus Day weekend, Oct. 11-13, at Camp Wakpominee in Fort Ann, and is open to all Twin Rivers Council Packs.
The Inter-Pack Rendezvous is not just an event, it is a program. It is a way for Cub Packs to take the “Pack Overnighter” to a new level and enjoy many of the same things that Boys Scouts do at a camporee-style event, in an age appropriate way. It also gives Packs with little camping experience the chance to start out with a Pack Overnighter in an affordable way and have the support of experienced fellow scouters. It is a lot more fun to go camping with friends.
This year the scouts will follow in the footsteps of the Lewis and Clark Expedition and explore the Missouri River and find the passage the Pacific Ocean! The Dens will trek from station to station with the same-age Dens from other Packs. As they participate in fun activities, they will work on advancement. By the time they reach the end of their journey, most Dens will have earned at least one Adventure Loop or Pin.
Packs will arrive on Friday night, beginning at 6 p.m., and be assigned to campsites. It is customary for the Webelos and AOL Scouts to come to camp on Friday and have the remainder of the Pack arrive on Saturday morning, no later than 9 a.m. This gives the older scouts a chance to get in a extra night of camping, and to work on skills they for their ranks that are more easily worked on without the younger scouts.
Saturday Check-In at Se. Louis, (the Gateway to the West) is from 7:00 am to 9:30 am. All Packs must be ready for the opening ceremony at 10:00 am in order to have enough time for all Dens to complete their stations and activities.
Food and meals will be handled by each Pack at the individual campsites.
