The Mohawk District covers the Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery, Schenectady Counties and the Town of Clifton Park in southern Saratoga County. It serves approximately 800 youth and over seventy units.

Spring Camporee at the Mabee Farm -- New Information Recently Added Content

Gigantic capture the flag games, monkey bridges, lashed towers, water balloon grenades, frisbee commando raids, orienteering, tug of war, Dutch oven cookoff. All are part of an exciting Mohawk District Spring Camporee later this month.

Final Camp Loyalty Payments Due May 1

Just a reminder to all Mohawk District Scout Troops attending Rotary or Wakpominee this summer under the Loyalty plan: Final payment on the $450 fee per Scout is due by May 1.

Outstanding Mohawk District Volunteers Honored

Congratulations to hard-working volunteers Kristina Matthews and Alicia Sherman, who received the prestigious District Award of Merit during the inaugural Mohawk District Recognition Dinner March 13 at the Scotia United Methodist Church.

Mohawk District Receives Gold Award

Mohawk District, in its inaugural year, has received the prestigious Gold Journey to Excellence Award for 2017. The presentation was made during Annual Meeting of the Twin Rivers Council on Feb. 11 at the Embassy Inn and Suites in Saratoga Springs.

BALOO Training Being Offered

Cub Scout BALOO, or Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation, will be offered for the first time in Mohawk District on June 1-2 at the Clifton Park Elks Lodge.
