  • 2018 Nuts for Scouting

    In cooperation with Virginia Diner Peanut Company, registered Twin Rivers Council Scouting members and families are invited to sell nuts to help provide funds for individual or unit needs. The Nut Sale is an opportunity for Units or members to help Scouts attend one of our great Scout Camps (Rotary, Wakpominee or one of the many Day Camp opportunities).
  • National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) Courses

    NYLT is Twin Rivers Council's premiere leadership development course for experienced Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts, Varsity Teams and Venturing Crews who are nominated by their Unit Leader for their potential as a future leader and now is the time to sign up!
  • Saratoga Good Scout Award Dinner Honoring Dehn's Flowers, Inc. and Families

    In recognition of Dehn's Flowers, Inc. and Families for their outstanding community service and demonstration of the Scouting values of character, leadership, and service, the 2018 Saratoga Good Scout Award will be presented to them at a dinner on April 18, 2018 at the Saratoga Springs Holiday Inn.
  • Scout Night with Flight and the ValleyCats!!

    Back by popular demand, the Scout Sleepover Extravaganza is here!! We have teamed up with Flight Trampoline Park and the Tri-City ValleyCats to offer great ticket packages!
  • University of Scouting and College of Commissioner Science

    The University of Scouting is much more than just another training course. It’s a day long get together, a big, fun-filled experience where Scout leaders increase their knowledge, improve their skills, and gain enthusiastic attitudes about Scouting. Registration for this year's event will be online soon.
  • Wakpominee District Honors Matthew Rozell - 05/10/18

    This year, Turning Point District will be honoring Matthew Rozell, the internationally/nationally recognized Social Studies teacher from Hudson Falls who has written about his interviews with our World War II veterans. A dinner in his honor will be held at the Great Escape Lodge on May 10, 2018. Mark you calendars for this joyous event.
  • Day Camp Is Right Around The Corner!

    Close to home and so much fun! Day Camp is the one of the first steps in the Scouting Outdoor Program. It’s a week of fun and adventure at a camp close to home. Each day’s program is filled with a variety of exciting activities, which may include swimming, archery, nature, crafts, games, and sports all designed to enhance the boy’s experience. Activities differ with each Day Camp.

    VenturingFest is a special Scouting event at The Summit that's open to registered Venturers, Scouts, and adult leaders across the U.S.
  • Wood Badge - Scouting's Ultimate Leader Training

    Twin Rivers Council will be hosting a Wood Badge Course during the fall of 2018. The course will be held at Camp Wakpominee over two weekends.
