Camp Deadlines Approach -- Avoid Late Fees

We are closing in on several important deadlines for Scouts BSA and Cub Summer Camp programs, after which participants will be charged an additional $50 late fee.

A late fee of $545 is now in place for all youth signing up for Scouts BSA Resident Camp at Rotary or Wakpominee. The discount code for Webelos crossovers and girls has expired.

The one exception is for second-week campers. The price to attend a second week at camp, at either Rotary or Wakpominee, remains at $250 and carries no late charge. You may register up to the Friday of the previous week. It's a great opportunity for a Scout to return for, say, STEM Week 6 at Rotary or try out the new ATV program at Wakpominee (ages 15 and up) at the discounted rate after paying for another week at either camp.

For Cub, Webelos and Arrow of Light youths wishing to attend Resident Camp at Wakpoiminee, the fees are currently $250 for youth, $20 for adults and $270 for a combined youth-adult Provisional. Those fees are only in affect through June 19. After that date, youth fees jump to $300, adults to $50 and Provisional at $320. All those currently registered should have their fees paid in full by then.

The Cub/Webelos Resident Camp runs from July 21-24, with the Webelos/Arrow of Light session to follow from July 24-17.

Late fees kick in for Day Camps on different dates, and mean an additional $50 per youth. For the TRC Day Camp at Wakpominee (July 8-12), the late fees begin on June 23. For the Day Camp at Colonie Town Park (July 15-19) and Beukendaal Fire Department in Scotia (July 19-Aug. 2), late fees start on June 30.

There is an exception for new Cubs registered after May 1. They may still attend at the regular rates of $150 ($100 for a second youth in the family, $75 with an approved staff member).

Late fees for the Family Camp weekend July 19-21 at Camp Bedford begin on July 8.

The other Family Camp program being offered is the Interpack Rendezvous Oct. 11-13 at Wakpominee. Registration (by Packs only, not as individuals) begins on Aug. 1.
