It is now official. Our 2018 Good Scout Award Honoree will be Matthew Rozell, the internationally/nationally recognized Social Studies teacher from Hudson Falls who has written about his interviews with our World War II veterans, at a dinner in his honor. The dinner is Thursday, May 10, 2018, at the Great Escape Lodge. The reception begins at 6 p.m., with the program and dinner at 7 p.m.

This event is one of the major fundraisers for the Boy Scouts.  We sincerely hope that you will help make this year’s reception a great success. We also hope that you will fill out the enclosed flyer and return the lower portion at your earliest convenience.  Registration is also available on our secure website,  Your support will help to continue our local scouting program which will produce the leaders of tomorrow.

In addition to the dinner, we are holding our annual GSAD auction. Please consider donating an item to be auctioned on May 10th. Suggested items include gift certificates, services, collectables—anything you think someone would bid on.

All funds raised through this event will benefit the Turning Point (formerly Wakpominee) District of the Twin Rivers Council, Boy Scouts of America. The district serves Warren, Washington, and Northern Saratoga Counties and supports over 1,300 young people.

On behalf of all of our scouts, families, and advocates, we Thank You for your consideration and support.  Looking forward to seeing you in May!
