Help Design the Future of Scouting at Rotary and Wakpominee!

Dream out loud!

Help us to design the future of Scouting at Rotary Scout Reservation and Camp Wakpominee by sharing your ideas and collaborating with others to help envision the future of our programs and facilities.

Anyone with an interest in the future of our camps is invited to our first ever Camp Town Halls.  All are welcome, including Scouts, parents, unit leaders, alumni, staff, Scouting volunteers, and friends of the camps.  Camp and council program leadership will be in attendance for both sessions to hear from you.

Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with one another in small group discussions and share ideas for the future of our programs and facilities, with the goal of improving our service to the entire Scouting community, including Family Scouting, Cub Scouts, and older youth.

As Wakpominee and Rotary both prepare to celebrate their centennial anniversaries in the next few years, these Town Halls will offer an unprecedented opportunity for anyone who loves our camps to offer input and help chart the future of the outdoor program in the Twin Rivers Council.  All of the feedback collected will be used to help guide the upcoming camp and council strategic plans.

The Rotary Scout Reservation Town Hall will be held on Tuesday, August 14th and the Camp Wakpominee Town Hall will be held on Wednesday, August 15th.  Both events will begin at 6:00 pm in the dining hall.  Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served.  There is no cost to attend, but participants are asked to register online so that we have a head count for food.

Please join us for this unique opportunity to help dream the future!
