TRC Fall Camporee

All Aboard for Scouting Fun at the Twin Rivers Council Fall Camporee!

Join hundreds of your closest Scouting friends for the Twin Rivers Council Fall Camporee at the Altamont Fairgrounds, September 28th-30th.  The biggest event of the year will feature fellowship, games, competitions, exhibits, entertainment, and fireworks!

This fun and exciting event is open to everyone in the Scouting community, including Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers, and Explorers.  

Cub Scouts are welcome to arrive on Saturday morning and will have their own dedicated program, as well as full access to everything the camporee has to offer!  Cub Scouts may camp out Saturday night, either separately with their packs, or as guests of a troop.  

Giffy's Bar-B-Q will be on hand serving up delicious BBQ Chicken dinners on Saturday night.  Optional tickets for the BBQ are available to purchase for $12 during registration.  

The Camporee Leaders Guide is now available.

The Camporee program will offer a wide variety of activities for Scouts of all ages, including:

  • Dedicated Cub Scout Adventure Area
  • Goosechase! Scavenger Hunt for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts/Venturers
  • Railroading Merit Badge
  • Collections Merit Badge
  • Signs, Signals, and Codes Merit Badge
  • Dutch Oven Cooking Demonstrations
  • Altamont Fair venues and staff demonstrations (Circus Museum, Classic Autos, Classic Farm Machinery, Farmhouse Museum)
  • Twin Rivers Council Scouting Heritage Display
  • "The Gathering Space" for patch trading and Magic the Gathering play
  • Carnival Games Midway
  • Bounce House
  • Velcro Wall
  • Inflatable Sumo Suits
  • Indoor BB Gun Range
  • Indoor Archery Range
  • Eddie Eagle Firearms Safety Awareness Program for Cub Scouts
  • DJ/Music
  • Fireworks
